For years, a Harvard education meant something, and maybe it still does. But after Harvard
announced its intention of hosting former Iranian President Mohammed
Khatami, the meaning of the name "Harvard" on a resume is clearly
negative. Unless you are a psychotic Bush hating art director or
college dean that happens to be trolling for like minded faculty
assistants, the name Harvard is synonymous to far left extremism.
With Yale hosting a former Taliban spokesmonkey, Dartmouth attempting
to rig its elections to favor only existing staff and now Harvard
proudly presenting a top rung terrorist to speak on campus, one wonders
what Brown, Cornell, Penn, Columbia and Princeton are plotting to top
the Ivy League competition. Maybe a good old fashioned Bush
effigy burning, or a Cindy Sheehan/Michael Moore/Mary Mapes/Dan Rather
multimedia presentation?
With apologies to intelligent and successful Ivy Leaguers everywhere,
your degrees are rapidly declining in value. You might want to
stop sending alumni contributions to thank your former faculty for
obliterating the meaning of the name on your resume.
