Make a Difference

It appears we are headed into yet another scandal filled election October, full of surprises the whole family can enjoy.  Yes, in my opinion, this country is in trouble if it elects a Democrat majority in both houses.  However, it may surprise some that I believe America is in trouble, just slightly less so, if it retains a Republican majority.

It appears we have a problem that will not be going away soon.   We have a problem with Islam, specifically radical Islam, the variety the Muslim Brotherhood, Al Jihad, Al Qaeda, Hezbolla, the Taliban, the theocratic gov't of Iran, and even Hamas all embrace.  We also have a problem facing up to it internally in our nation, both on a spiritual level and on a material level.

Our nation has fought many great wars, none of which have been over spirituality.  This war we find ourselves in today is all about the supremacy of one religion, one government, one God over ours.  The goal of our enemy isn't to plunder our land, assume our riches, win some economic power, our gain territory.   The goal of our enemy is to restore Islamic world rule under Sharia law, to eliminate freedom and democracy in favor of one choice, Islam both as religion and government.

So to you oh Christians and Jews of America, I ask you, is your religion worth fighting for?   Is your religion as important or even moreso than your citizenship?   I don't think the answer at this moment is yes, because I don't believe hardly anyone even conceives of it in those terms.   But the fundamental truth behind radical Islam cannot be ignored, and that is the desire to eliminate your beliefs, your religion, your freedom of choice and your American citizenship.

Since 9/11 Americans have been reassured that Islam is a religion of peace.  Our gov't has been careful to not step on too many toes because as we all know by worldwide reaction to some silly cartoons and a scholarly lecture by The Pope, Muslims are very serious and thin skinned when it comes to even the slightest hint of criticism about their religion.  We have groups such as CAIR, which at the highest level are corrupt terrorist supporters, working the media 24/7 to spin their message of tolerance, as if supporting terrorists can be reconciled by fancy verbage and silly lawsuits.  We have intellectual elites and far left wing partisans working on behalf of terrorist rights, which they say include the right not to be evesdropped on, the right not to have their blood money bank transactions monitored, the right of habeas corpus, the right not to have their mail monitored once incarcerated, the right not to be made to feel too hot or too cold during interrogations, the right to an attorney and the right to not be racially profiled.  At this very moment we have a burdgeoning problem within our penal system of radical Islamic imams being allowed to entertain our convicted state and federal hardened criminals, convert them to Islam and radicalize them.  One wonders why we would allow that, and/or why our enemy would believe radicalizing criminals would be useful.  I know the answer to the latter, but not the former.

In short, we are probably fighting a heck of lot better as a road team than a home team.   Sure we've come a long way, but we have a long, long way to go to rid this finest nation in the history of mankind of the plague, of the cancer, of the growing tumor of radical Islam within our own borders, right here and right now.  Considering this tumor has grown under the 6 years or Republican leadership, I don't think political affiliation is all that relevant.

The Myth of Moral High Ground

Several times recently I recall hearing of the need to retain the moral high ground in the debate about using torture or coercive measures to extract information from enemy combatants.  I have seen this argument applied to giving terrorist detainees Geneva rights, for one example.

Let me be the first to say "hogwash".   There is no moral high ground.    First of all, our enemies have no qualms about torturing our prisoners.  More pertinent to the argument however is we as a nation have no moral high ground to step up to.   We are the only nation to obliterate hundreds of thousands with nuclear weapons.   We are world leaders in killing the unborn.   We are setting the standard in late life euthanasia, under the guise of "death with dignity".  The vast majority of the worlds hard core porn flows through the US.  World demand for illegal drugs starts and stops here.  A nation that used to be very "christian" is far less so today.   In short, we like to think we are this noble giant benevolently helping the world, in reality we are a bunch of capitalist thugs willing to murder to keep what we've attained.  And don't get me wrong, I love the US.  I'm just a realist.

Its high time we stopped pretending to be something we aren't, that is moral shining stars.   While we gloat over how noble we are towards scumbag radicals that would think nothing of killing thousands of US innocents, our enemies in the world will be plotting new and unthinkable actions against us.  If we as a nation are serious about stopping that tidal wave of terrorism, we'd better stop preening and start getting our hands dirty.

Islam needs a wake up call

Its unfortunate, but any speech or cartoon that can be twisted in any way, shape or form by corrupt imams or clerics to rile up the Friday masses into a frothing, foaming, inconsolable group of manipulated crybabies, will invariably lead to calls for apology to the ummah of Islam.

Give me a break.  Seriously.

I have decided enough is enough.  I have formed a super secret cell of hard-right gun loving Jesus freaks who's mission in life is to firebomb the nearest Mosque or Quicki-Mart at the mere mention of Jesus by any Muslim.   First up on our HIT LIST is Eric Meek, VP of CAIR who just this week said Jesus would be a Muslim if he came back.  Eric is a dead man.

We will multiply quietly.  In a few months you will see our movies all over the internet.   Our first one is going to be the capture and beheading of Bin Laden, or if we can't find Bin Laden, we'll just grab the nearest Muslim journalist like they did with Daniel Pearl.  We already have plenty of forced conversions on video, you should have seen the looks on their faces when we shoved our 12 gauges into their mouths.    We have contacted some folks of like mind in the American mainstream media and have been assured they will broadcast any of our videos we tell them to.  After all, we have threatened to kill their children if they don't do as we say.  We have initiated plans to declare War on Islam, to fly airplanes into Mecca and kill 3000 worshippers, to blow up embassies of Islamic nations anywhere on the planet, to fund suicide bombers, to glorify death for Jesus and to indoctrinate entire generations of Jesus lovers willing to blow themselves up so baby Jesus can give us a hug in heaven.  And someday, many years from now, someone might say that Christians have a wierd sense of reason that they might force conversions and promote violence for Jesus and that person will be killed by us or forced to apologize.  BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Harvard used to matter

For years, a Harvard education meant something, and maybe it still does.  But after Harvard
announced its intention of hosting former Iranian President Mohammed Khatami, the meaning of the name "Harvard" on a resume is clearly negative.  Unless you are a psychotic Bush hating art director or college dean that happens to be trolling for like minded faculty assistants, the name Harvard is synonymous to far left extremism.

With Yale hosting a former Taliban spokesmonkey, Dartmouth attempting to rig its elections to favor only existing staff and now Harvard proudly presenting a top rung terrorist to speak on campus, one wonders what Brown, Cornell, Penn, Columbia and Princeton are plotting to top the Ivy League competition.  Maybe a good old fashioned Bush effigy burning, or a Cindy Sheehan/Michael Moore/Mary Mapes/Dan Rather multimedia presentation?

With apologies to intelligent and successful Ivy Leaguers everywhere, your degrees are rapidly declining in value.  You might want to stop sending alumni contributions to thank your former faculty for obliterating the meaning of the name on your resume.

Return of the 12th Imam

Muslim extremists, even Mr Ayatolla himself are excited about Aug 22, the historical date of the return of the 12th Imam.  So am I.  Anything that would speed the full fledged world war between the West and Islam, bringing Muslims to their knees in shame and disgrace after badly overplaying their 2 pair against a full house would be fine with me.  There is only one war the crazed Islamic supremists can hope to win and that is the war of false information.  Since they have the world media in their hip pocket they effectively know 2 of the 3 hands at the table and can put in more chips to the pot.  However, the guy in seat 3 happens to have a loaded Colt .45 in his lap and if he feels like he's being cheated he's going to put some holes in someone.

Not one country in the middle east has the weaponry or manpower to repel a seige by western and Israeli forces of their land.  Even combined forces of all the middle eastern countries could not withstand the brute force of combined allied forces from the west.  The only way this war would be fair is if China and Russia fought on behalf of the Persians.  This will not happen.  China does not support an Islamic world theocracy and Russia is not about to enbolden its simmering Muslim minority by backing the Mullahs.

Of course the Iranians know this so they bluff.   They have 7-2 hole cards  but they're firing chips in the pot like Chris Moneymaker on a 12 hour bender.

Unfortunately, we of the west have lost sight of the pain of terrorism.  We forget the loss, we mow our lawns, drink our Starbucks and complain about rush hour traffic.  We need a reminder and we need a jolting call to action.  If that means tens of thousands must die in a horribly conceived plot by a bunch of crazy Islamic supremists, then so be it.  Yes that's cold, hard and crude, but I don't see people of the West raising their hands to be first in line to kill the enemy.  And until we match their intensity, they will Tiger Woods compared to Colin Montgomery, firing targeted shots with precision and purpose while we fluff drives into the rough and lob wedges into the bunker as we choke on a 1 shot lead.

Media credibility in shambles

What can I say?  The title is self explanatory, unless you've been under a rock the last 2 weeks.  Between photo manipulation, photo staging, Hezbollah "stringers" paid by the wire services for "news", media using Muslim extremists as expert commentators without context, and the medias general ineptness and bias all around I just can't take it anymore.  I mean, what's the point of media if it isn't real news they are reporting, just a bunch of hollywood staging and acting?  If I want fake, I turn on a sitcom or something on HBO.  Can someone answer that for me, I'm at a loss here...

I sincerely hope that there are about 200 million other folks in this country just like me, that come to the realization what they see on TV news and what they read in the local fishwrapper is most likely a slant, a staging or even outright fabrication.  You cannot trust the media, at all.  We've reached a sad point in our nations history.

What to do about it?  Turn off the news.  Don't ever spend a nickle again on a magazine or newspaper.   These companies still have a bottom line and in business, that's the only thing that matters.  They won't change on their own, but the shareholders of the companies will eventually demand it when the stocks fail.

The next step is to create a real news network, non biased and charged with reporting both sides of stories.  I don't have the time or money, but someone does and that person is going to find a market salivating for credible reporting, a market ready to spend real money on facts, a market that has tired of old media and its shattered credibility.  That's the answer, first you tear up the old, then you create the new.

The World without Islam

And so it begins.  Iran, using puppets Hamas and Hezbollah, has begun its proxy war against Israel.  Is this a surprise?  Only to those who have steadfastly ignored Ahmadinejad, the insane President of Iran.  Today he compared Israel to Hitler.

Sadly, we have entered a period of history which will result in a paradigm shift for future generations.  All such previous paradigm shifts on the global scale have resulted in massive loss of life.  This recent skirmish between Iran and Israel forbears a much larger global war, centered on control and influence of the future of the entire middle east.  The US effectively fired the first salvo by conquering the Taliban in Afghanistan and eliminating Saddam's regime in Iraq.  Now the world will watch as the Russians, Chinese and French fire back, using Iran as its chess piece.  What appears to be a regional skirmish is at the deeper level a world war in the developmental stages.

And why do we find ourselves here at this crossroad through history?  Islam.  The dark ages religion that has enslaved its people, glorified the past, ignored the future and created a monstrous death craving subclass of jihadist martyrdom seekers.  As history rightly holds Christianity and the Crusades to task for its horrendous global homicide, history will hold Islam in the same disgusted light in future generations.  However, for our generation it is up to us to annihilate the current form of Islam, shame it into submission, and forever protect future generations from its deadly goals.  If we do not do this now and forever, then all of us in the West will face a future of death, submission and slavery to our Muslim masters.   One only has to read the words of current Muslim kingpins such as Bin Laden or Ahmadinejad and take them at face value to understand the seriousness of their plans.  If we of the west and of Christian heritage continue to ignore, rationalize and outright fear what these men and their ilk say, we shall lose.  It is time to act.

Guns, Guns, Guns!

I've heard many pro gun-control arguments over the years, seen many laws enacted in my lifeteime and read far too many quotes from various liberals regarding gun control.  What is missing in both public and private conversation on the matter is the reality of the gun market in the United States.  In fact, rarely have I seen printed or discussed publicly in any fashion the enormous grey and black market for guns that exists in the US.   I would estimate over 50% of all gun transactions that occur daily in this country are of the grey or black market variety, and that is a very conservative estimate.  Millions of guns trade hands legally and privately in this country, totally unregulated, every year.  Don't believe me, go to your local gun show next time it comes around and bring cash.   Your potential transaction is not a crime.

Beyond that, many gun owners routinely trade guns amongst themselves within circles of friendship that develop via mutual interests in shooting or hunting.  In addition, all illegally recieved guns (stolen or illicitly received) are traded on the black market.  Finally, some legal guns are unknowingly traded to illegal criminal parties.  Most of these guns are traded two or three times "down the ladder" from an original registered gun purchaser to the end using criminal.

The point of all this?  The gun market as it sits is beyond regulation.  Calls for further regulation and in some areas calls for gun intolerance are ignoring over 50% of all guns, that is the 50% that are effectively "off the books".  What point is there in attempting to regulate less than half an industry?

The only way the gun industry in this nation would be under regulation is if all transactions involving guns were required by federal law to undergo federal scrutiny, such as the federal drug laws.   Even if that were the case, the history and enormity of gun trade in the US would lead to rejection of such regulation and result in moving the grey market firmly into the black market.  At the end of this "prohibitionist" movement would be the criminal element which would never give up their activity and would in fact profit enormously from such federal regulation of firearms.

What this country needs is a return to rational thought regarding guns.  The next time you hear some non thinking person spout off about the need to make guns illegal or greatly increase gun control, remind them that controlling less than half the market won't amount to much at all, other than a monumental waste of time and tax money.   If people want to control guns, they really want to control people.   Focus on the people and the education of our nation on gun responsibility and ownership and most of these frivolous arguments dissolve.

How Bush can win the real war on terror

Have you ever thought for a moment why we as a country support terror on the one hand while waging The Global War on Terror on the other?  Yes, you read me correctly.  It is a plain fact that the United States supports terror.  Similarly, the United States buys more illegal drugs than most nations combined while simultaneousy waging a decades long War on Drugs.  The logic is simple:  your dollars and mine pay for oil and those dollars are used by the corrupt regimes that produce most of the worlds oil to prop up anti-American and anti-western terrorists all over the world.  Furthermore, our government gives our tax money to corrupt governments of the middle east in a futile attempt to buy loyalty.  Those same nations turn out an ever increasing supply of fresh new terrorists yearning to find martyrdom at the expense of the west.  Its truly astonishing when you think about the dysfunction of it all.

Are you tired of the nebulous phrase "Global War on Terror"?  We aren't fighting terror, we're fighting Muslim terrorists.  Muslim terrorists primarily from the middle east.  A more apt description of this war is the "Global War on Middle Eastern Muslim Extremists", but I'm sure the PC crowd in Washington scratched that one off the board in their focus groups shortly after 9/11.

Not being one to sit around and ask questions all day in a worthless attempt to rationalize it all away, I've come to the conclusion that the only solution to this so called "war on terror" is to take away the one thing the terrorists must have in order to wage an effective war and that is our money.   And this is where Mr. Bush must lead.  Mr. Bush must insist that this nation reduce its dependency on oil by 50% by the year 2015.

In the early 60's JFK announced to this nation that we would have a man on the moon by the end of the decade.  It happened.  His vision and ambition forced this nation to react and achieve.  It is my opinion that if Mr Bush announced an emergency national address tomorrow night then went on TV and told the world that this nation's mandate and vision was to reduce oil dependency by 50% by the year 2015 and that our government was earmarking 200 billion dollars in research grants to find legitimate alternative fuel sources effective immediately and made a strong case that this was the key to winning the GWOT, most Americans would be estatic.  Heck, I don't think most Americans would mind paying a few extra bucks a month for fuel of some sort in the year 2015 as long as it meant our dollars weren't going to Saudi Arabia to pay for bloody terrorist supporting oil.

Can you imagine the fear in the hearts and minds of the corrupt middle eastern regimes upon realization that their sugardaddy, the United States of America, was not going to keep sending them checks in the future?  I would love to be at the next OPEC meeting after our national decree.  They say all war is economic at its heart, and surely this is true today.
